Action Plan
The Action Plan for CentiQ: Wijzer in Geldzaken was compiled on
the basis of results from a large-scale public survey. The platform
made several strategic choices. Indicators for successful financial
behaviour, such as 'financial management' and 'the habits of youth
last a lifetime', together with 'concern for the future' top the
strategic agenda.
In addition, current themes, such as savings and loan issues,
receive extra emphasis. These aspects and themes are further
explored and implemented by (combinations of) partners in
programmes and projects. Six strategic choices, three programmes,
and four core activities are key elements of the action plan.
Mission
CentiQ partners are looking to increase consumers' financial
insight and management skills, and hope to foster sound financial
decision-making. By pooling their talents in the CentiQ platform,
partners aim to be more able to reach and inform consumers and
assist them in becoming more "money-wise".
Main goal
CentiQ partners want consumers to have better control over their
financial management, both on the short and long term. Consumers
need to be actively involved, and/or have access to expert advice,
to arrive at well-considered financial decisions that contribute to
the achievement of their personal goals.
